Account & Meeting Room Authentication
Conferencing Direct employs both user and meeting room
authentication. This simply means that each Operator
or User has his/her own username and password, which
is used to join all web meetings. The advantages of
user-based authentication when combined with meeting-based
authentication is that Users only have to remember one
username and password and no one can assume a person's
identity in a meeting.
Guest Pass Expiration
From the Tools/Features menu, you can easily generate
guest passes "on the fly". By default, any
guest pass you manually generate from within your room,
will "expire" in 30 days. To increase or decrease
the time a guest pass is valid for your room, select
from the drop-down menu located in your control panel.
Registration Page Builder
You can use this tool to create html code for custom
registration forms to be placed on your website. When
your web visitors fill out the form, they will be able
to create a user account to enter your meeting room.

Provide free access to your room. For an example,
click here to view our public guest pass page.
Sell access valid for a specified period of time.
Provide access to a specific meeting and send reminder
messages.
If you plan to charge a fee to access your meeting,
you can use any payment processor you choose. For example,
ClickBank, PayPal, 2Checkout, etc. There is no limit
to the number of unique registration forms you create.
While there is no limit to the number of User accounts
that your registration forms can generate, the number
of people you can have in your room at one time is determined
by the size of your account. For example, 10, 25, 50
or 100 Seats. |
